Meet Dr. Reddy

Founding Physician

Pranav M. Reddy MD, MPA is a physician and writer. He is Harvard-trained and board-certified in psychiatry as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Reddy is a graduate of the Ohio State University, where he studied political science and microbiology as a Presidential Scholar. Prior to training in medicine, he worked with Calcutta Kids, a nonprofit serving pregnant women, mothers, and children in Kolkata’s slums. He trained as a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Brown University. He completed a joint degree at the Harvard Kennedy School, where received a Master in Public Administration (MPA) and focused on crisis leadership, disaster recovery, and conflict diplomacy. He was awarded a Kennedy Fellowship for professional distinction in public service.

He specialized in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where he worked clinically during post-graduate training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and McLean Hospital. At Harvard, he completed advanced training in clinical immunology, interventional psychiatry (ECT, TMS, Ketamine), and psychedelic-assisted therapies. His research at Mass General Brigham focused on noninvasive neuromodulation therapy using targeted electricity to treat symptoms of anxiety, stress, and trauma. He completed Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society & Institute (BPSI).

Dr. Reddy is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, where he teaches trainees in Mass General Brigham’s Department of Psychiatry. He has worked globally in India, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic building healthcare capacity in low-resource settings. He is currently serving on the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society (MPS) Disaster Readiness Committee and as a Physician Scientist member of the Mass General Brigham Institutional Review Board (IRB).
